Let’s have a look at what we accomplished last year :
Life is rose
We teamed up with Albertine to create a limited edition candle in collaboration with Life Is Rose, providing support to people affected by cancer. For each candle sold, 5 euros were given to Life Is Rose, to cover essential expenses (rent, food, childcare, palliative care, prosthetics, etc.) for people affected by cancer.
Waves For Water
We joined Damien Castera x Waves For Water crowfunding campaign to help spread clean water throughought Liberia. Damien travelled to Liberia last june and brought water filters to 3 villages, 7 schools and a clinic. One filter can provide 100 people with clean water for up to 5 years. Thank you to everyone who donated trough our EQ solidarity micro donation program.
Surfrider Maroc x Travel Surf Morocco
EQ has supported Travel Surf Morroco and Surfrider Maroc in their Charity Surf project in Imsouane. Along with pro surfer and EQ ambassador Justine Mauvin, they promoted women’s surfing in Morocco through surf lessons for the girls from the village, and through educational workshops to emphasize the fragility of the ocean.
Water Family
EQ actively supports the "Flocon à la Vague" charity, who educates people about water protection. EQ takes part in the charity's schools program through a cosmetics workshop, and through water-cycle awareness events, from the mountains to the oceans.
Green Friday
Because we think that Black Friday’s super-low prices come at an environmental cost (wasteful production and senseless shopping), we decided to take part in Green Friday, an alternative movement launched by ENVIE that brings shoppers and retailers together to take on Black Friday. Last november 23rd, we donated 15% of our online’s proceeds to ZERO WASTE, an organisation that campaigns for a wasteless society. We also organised a DIY workshop at EQ Store in Biarritz.
