Native to Hawaï, where it is known as “Pua”, the Kau Pe flower is a true emblem of the Marquesas Island. Legend has it that the first Pua flowers were brought to Earth by the god Tane, god of the forests. A rich source of mucilage, the Kau Pe flower is known for its ability to moisturise and soften.

Extract of Myrothamnus flabellifolia, a desert plant known as the resurrection plant

Originating in the Kalahari desert in Africa, Myrothamnus flabellifolia is also known as the resurrection plant for its ability to survive extreme conditions by assuming a state of dormancy for prolonged periods of time.

Once it comes into contact with even the smallest amount of water, it can regenerate in the space of a day. This plant extract helps the cell membranes to preserve moisture, thus facilitating rehydration and preservation of the skin’s natural barrier.
