Organic barbary fig extract

Originating in Mexico and a member of the cactus family, the barbary fig has learned to adapt to extreme climate conditions by developing an amazing ability to store large amounts of water.

The extract comes from the fruit of the barbary fig, and is used in the formula to promote the healing of damaged skin and the reduction of redness associated with physical friction and environmental factors.

Originating in the Kalahari desert in Africa, Myrothamnus flabellifolia is also known as the resurrection plant for its ability to survive extreme conditions by assuming a state of dormancy for prolonged periods of time.

Once it comes into contact with even the smallest amount of water, it can regenerate in the space of a day. This plant extract promotes the cell membrane’s ability to retain water, facilitating rehydration and regeneration of the skin. Skin is reinvigorated, and feels completely soothed.
